INTRODUCTIONWith the Data Lineage license you have procured you should be able to import information fromETL tools such as Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Integration Services (SSIS) .IMPORTINGTo import the information, please follow these steps after having registered the Data Lineagelicense:1. In ER/Studio please select menu File Import File From External Metadata.2. When the dialog that appears, in the Import From drop down menu please select thetool you wish to import ETL/Data Lineage information from.ER/ S TUDI O E TL I MPO R T G U I D E3
I MPORTI NG3. Once in the Import From the tool is selected, in the area below you will see relatedinformation. Please note that to enable entering information you click inside the “Value”column area. Items with a red dot usually indicate information that must be provided.
