We are very grateful to theseteachers for their help. The books are classified by subject matter areas and grade levels(2-6), (7-8), and (9-12). Though only a few books are listed in somespecific areas, the listings in other areas can be used to expand thestudents range of reading interests. The readings selected by experiencedteachers should have more value than readings that would be chosen byless-well-informed students.A list of professional material recommended by our staff is includedat the end. Copies of the mimeographed material in this list are availablefrom our office on request.Gene Burnette, DirectorSection for the Education ofExceptionally Talented Children
